Setting Up

Set UpPart of the ClubPay ethos is to make it quick and easy for your Customers to find and pay for whatever they have come to your Micro-Site to buy. For this reason, and because we would like our Vendor Organisations - as far as possible - to be able to tackle most of the set up themselves, we look to keep the Micro-Site as simple as possible.

Self-set up has many advantages, but we do recognise that part of your motivation for coming to ClubPay in the first place may have been that you lack the expertise, time or inclination to set up your own site. We therefore offer two routes to get to 'Go Live' - 'self set up', where you do much of the work and 'assisted set up' where we do it. And as usual, both have their pros and cons.

Pros

Potentially quicker

Greater input into the final appearance of your Micro-Site

Can still call upon ClubPay for help & support

ClubPay does the hard work

Works well for those with limited technical skills, time or inclination

Make use of ClubPay technical & design skills

Can still make minor changes to text without assistance

Cons

Leaning curve - albeit a shallow one

Some rework may occasionally be required at the testing and quality assurance stage

You still need to know what you want on your Micro-Site and you need to be able to tell us

Likely to take a little longer dependent on the availability of our development team

Less control over the finished Micro-Site - although we'll always try to give you exactly what you want

In reality, most Micro-Sites will be developed with a mix of both approaches, but we do need you to tell us which of these routes you favour so that we can work out how best to support you in getting your Micro-Site live.
